by: deliciously Dee

Ingredients:

2(15 oz) cans of garbanzo beans (drained)

3 cloves of garlic (minced)
1 cup finely chopped red peppers
1 tsp crushed red pepper
1 cup tahini
3 lemons (squeezed)  *See benefits below.
1/4 cup of canna oil (infused olive oil)
salt to taste

Directions:

First, open the can of beans, strain, and mash.  Next , mix all ingredients in a bowl until well blended. Then, place in an air tight container and put in fridge for a couple hours or until cool.  Once cooled, take out and stir (oil separates from mixture).  Measure out a serving and add spices. (your preference)

Make sure you stir before every snack as oil separates from mixture.  Enjoy your Happy Hummus!

Serve with chips, crackers, veggies, my favorite are Red Hot Blues Chips!

WEED SCIENCE TIP :

The Happy Chef Fact : Some research suggests that diet can influence your cannabis experience.

- In a 2011 study, researchers found that a lack of Omega-3 fats in a person's body lowered the medical effects of cannabis.  Most diets practiced in the United States are high in Omega-6 fats, not Omega-3 fats.  Without Omega-3 fats, the receptors in a person's brain that absorb the compounds in cannabis don't function properly.  Therefore relaying that a lack of Omega-3 fats means a patient, or consumer, won't receive the full effects from cannabis.

terpenoid known as limonene that is found in some strains of cannabis is also found in rinds of a lemon and citrus fruits, which are ingredients listed in this recipe. Adding strains higher in limonene will likely influence your cannabis experience as the ingredients act as a multiplier due to the added potencies from the lemons.
So eating healthy may actually add to your high life! (:

Known Strains High in Limonene:
& also GREAT STRAINS to pair with this dish : OG Kush, Super Lemon Haze, Jack the Ripper, Tangie, Clementine, and Lemon Skunk.
